All That The Eye Can See!!!

Give your blog a visual boost….Great blog!!!!

Journalism and photography complement each other – part of our photography course will tie in with our journalism studies – and this got me thinking – how much has a writer’s role changed? long gone are the days when you would research, write and edit a piece.

To say that the arrival of social media changed how writers operated is an understatement.  Every writer has a blog, at least one, if you’re a glutton for punishment you might have more.  It’s a necessity, a place to showcase your work, let off a bit of steam, allow your personality to shine through and get your name known.  But it doesn’t stop there.  Just as it’s necessary to have a blog, it’s also necessary to be active on social media sites – this…

Just Be Yourself

Being anyone, other than “yourself” , requires unnecessary work. Relax, and just be beautiful “YOU”, and the right people will come into your life, to add to your Blessings. ..not take them away.

I’ve heard people ask on many occasions, “What do guys like?” Or “What kind of girls do guys want?”.  There is no set Barbie Doll that boys want.  Of course there ARE some similar desirable traits.  When it comes to appearance girls should just be themselves.  Do whatever it is that makes you feel beautiful for yourself.  The more confident a girl is with herself, the more it shows.  If you are one of the people who is asking this question then you should look at the situation differently.  The best way to go about dating is to perfect yourself and then meet people you mesh with.  It is never fully satisfying to mold yourself into the type a girl you think is desirable.   My personal recommendations are to be nice, friendly, and true to yourself!  Certain traits that are good to keep in mind is be trusting, and…

True authorship! Please share this.

In the end we all walk alone, but what lessons will we learn from others and ourselves, before we get there? Hopefully that alone time is used to reflect.
Enjoy this piece! 🙂

I’ve had loved ones say it’s going to be ok/

Turn their backs on me…

so somehow I have learned my way/

Burned a trail of lies…

So what’s the truth in the words they say/

Like who’s going to be there on your worst of days/

Are your accomplishments worth their praise/

Who’ll be there when you fall and are somewhat afraid/

Who’ll stop to grab your arm like a champions raised/

Look around and ask yourself who’s down till the grave/

Forgiveness in their hearts with humility and grace/

Who understands perfection is an impossible place/

And finding those that are is an unreachable chase/

Who’s real who’s fake…

Who’s a learning lesson waiting to be replaced/

Do their actions match the words coming out their face/

Friends out of convenience unproven till this date/

Understand theirs but do they see your pain/

Or maybe they don’t have…

I  literally  only  have less  than  40  people  on  my  facebook  page…..and  I  am  not  taking  any applicants  any  time  soon.  It  is  mainly  used  for  family  and  very  close  friends,  but  soon,  just  family.  Facebook  is  something  else,  I  tell  ya!  Maybe  I  will  get  into  it  again,  the  way  that  I  use  to  be,  when  I  actually  start  self-promoting. GREAT  ARTICLE!  I  know  it  will  Bless  any  and  all who  read  it.  🙂

envy from

What is Facebook good for? Provoking envy, according to studies.

Why are we humans so prone to brag, show off and flaunt pride? This is sin.

Why are also vulnerable to feeling envy? Rom. 12:15 describes Christian character: Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Feel good about another’s success/blessing. Fell compassion on another’s failure/suffering.

Compassion of the suffering is why Christians evangelize. Maybe what you’re suffering is envy. Come to Jesus.
