The Great Commission…….DON’T drink the water!!!πŸšΏπŸ›πŸ›€

  1. When you are told not to drink the water…this is for every aspect of that directive. TRUST ME! Do not even put it towards your lipsπŸ‘„.

When I traveled overseas for missions, I shared a room with a much older woman who did not care for me that much. She had been to that country several times and knew how to survive without going back to the states with Malaria. We were in our hotel room and as I proceeded to brush my teeth, I did what everyone else does…..”wet my toothbrush with the WATER from the sink.” I started brushing my teeth and this lady had a smirk on her face.

She slightly laughed and said:

“You are not supposed to put the water in your mouth. That is why I use bottled water to rinse.”

My eyes nearly popped out of my head. I was so mortified, while I still had my tooth brush hanging out of my mouth.

When I returned home, besides having jet lag that sucks the life right out of you, nothing sat right in my stomach for over a week after my return. My digestive system was wrecked. I could still eat but, my bathroom time…..well, I will spare you all the details πŸ’©πŸ’¦πŸš½

Hard lessons learned….

1. Do not room with evil old biddys, because they might be out to poison you😁

2. Purchase brands of water while away from the states, that you are familiar with, or have an expert travel companion along with you, who will help you adapt safely, along the way.bottled-water

3. If you are told not to drink the water, that means do NOT even put it near your mouth, including, but not limited to…..brushing your teeth with it.
