I love the gesture, but, what I would appreciate more, is if you go to the store and purchase seedlings, plant them, water them and nourish them….ad least then I would know you put effort into such a common gesture. Not to mention, you would be saving so much money, planting seeds for me, then you would, if you purchased a bouquet of flowers…..(be fiscally responsible) 😀 No thank you. I would rather not watch the petals fall on my table, as a clear reminder that the flower will soon be lifeless.
Who thought of giving flowers, as being a gesture of love? Well, they are beautiful and they are lovely. I do appreciate lilly’s for what they represent, and the occasional rose…..read your Bibles. But, what is really more appreciated, is the effort and work put into love. Love is free, but love must be maintained, much like the seedlings. Love must be planted, watered, nourished and looked after, in order to grow and flourish.
The word LOVE, is just a word, but actions speak. ❤
