“No, I don’t wear the pants………….I wear the skorts 😀 GET IT RIGHT!” Just kidding, a little. I HATE Anti-Christ feminism, but I do support every woman standing up for herself and standing against aggressors, whether they be male, or overbearing and alpha-females. If you never had to go head to head with that monstrosity, I hope that you never do. These kind of people back you into a corner so much, that your only way out is to vigorously fight your way out, gouge out some eye balls, snarl and show some teeth, perhaps even bite. Eventually people will get the point. EPHESIANS 6:12
“Mommy, where do babies come from?” Me: “Birds eggs.” So, now my son thinks that I can reach into a nest and grab him a brother or sister. Raven, you liar. I have been sideswiped by that question, more so lately because he wants a sibling. My son talks about bums, passing gas, foul potty moments, weird functions and smells of the body, boogers, and he laughs heartily at each topic. He DEFINITELY is not ready for the “baby talk.” He reminds me how “girly” I really am. The more I say; “Eeew! That is so disgusting…..” the funnier it becomes to him. You think my baby story is a trip, daddy’s answers are a mess! 🙂 Ad least I stick to my story.
What I have learned over the years…..always treat people as if they are writers, because our personal traumas leak from the tips of our permanent ball point pen’s straight to our notepads. Add to one’s life what is conducive and not intrusive and your anxieties will be few. Acts 24:16
Be proud of your children…….They may not have titles. They may not be business executives. They may not have degrees nor earning 6 figure incomes, but if they are not strung out on drugs, making a living on street corners, sitting on stoops in a drunken binge, your Blessed! They are Blessed! If they LOVE the Lord and follow Him, then you are OPULENTLY BLESSED! Besides, you raised them. 😀 PSALM 127:3-5
Ultimately, pure confidence and happiness in life is when we forfeit our own desires, and humbly do exactly what God called us to do. DEUTERONOMY 28; Luke 21:17-18
The best part of my yesterday, was my 5 year old boy, praising God in the back seat of our car. He enthusiastically talks about Jesus and thanks Him with his little arms and hands raised high up in the air. I know that Gods heart is pleased with my boy. That leaves me in awe. Happy Mother’s day to me! 😀
