Have you noticed me?

The other day, at the very park that I and my child walk at and play at…there was a body of a young man found. He was in his car and had been there for a couple of days. A resident nearby took notice of this sitting vehicle. The victim was only 37 years old.

What is sad to me, besides the obvious, and chilling as well, is how I am pretty sure my son and I went walking on the trail, and passed this mans car a couple of times, as he went unnoticed, by us (I have to say, thank God for that. My baby would have seen him) and other joggers/walkers. Apparently he had already passed away before we went to the park. No one noticed he was dead until 48 hrs later.

As of yet no one knows his cause of death, but it’s a sheer reminder of how close the land of the living is, to the spirit of death and the spiritual world. Am I trying to sound gloomy. No. But this is what happened. This is what happens every day. While we are living our lives enjoying the day, this young man entered into his eternal destination…there will be no ending. Whatever choices he made on earth, has determined his eternity. His world goes on forever, while we are yet living on God’s grace and borrowed time. Enjoy life, but always keep in the front of your minds, that this flesh…this world, and our time in it…has an ending. God Bless and comfort his loved ones.

(John 3:16)

Confessions of a Writer: CardiYO

I’m feeling great today! It is amazing how a good workout sends a shot of energy to the brain.

I am literally thinking more clearly. My conversations have been more thoughtful and my organization has been….well….organized. Things are getting done. I’m accomplishing short term goals this week , like a BOSS! 😁πŸ’ͺ

Psalm 98:1 πŸ˜„

🎢O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Confessions of a Writer: Peace, be still…

I’m all about it these days. Peace. I need my morning prayer….like a shot of espresso before a long haul of a day begins. The only assurance that I have, that my day will be alright…is that 10+ minutes that I give to the Lord when I rise.

(Psalm 63) “O God, Thou art my God; early will I seek thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is,”

In that moment of meditation…before the eggs start cooking, before the demands of a child begins…it’s just Him and I. He is the Author and finisher of my faith. Each day He writes my script…and I consult Him for His plans for me that day. God forbid I ever have to live life on my own. I would not make it. ❀

You call it Easter…I call it Resurrection!

I’m always a disappointment to my fellow Christ believers, on most holidays 😊. Not all, Believers, but some. I <100%> believe in the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ…but I do not believe that “Easter” has anything to do with Him. (The more we read…the more we find out) Stay informed. There are special days we are to observe every year in the Bible, but Eggs and bunny rabbits are not a part of it.

(Hosea 4:6) ” My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:”

There are so many people, Christians and non-Christians alike, whom believe in certain things with no proper explanation of where it came from. Many of the things that we do are tradition, even pagan. It’s not that JESUS told us to hold on to it…WE just chose to.

If the world loves it…trust me…NO, trust God….it is not of Him. Think about these celebrations. The things of God, the world does not partake in. People who don’t believe in Jesus celebrate Easter, but will never step a foot into the church. The media is all about bunnies and candy and egg hunts…but Jesus is far from that. Some from the church will still claim that Easter is about our Savior. Christians, we’ve got to be more educated….and careful with what we believe in.

There was a time when Christians did not celebrate, Halloween, Christmas nor Easter due to their origins and true meanings. My, has time changed!
